Four new members
16. September 2021, NEXPO Team
Frauenfeld, Grindelwald, Saas-Fee and Sion have joined NEXPO as new associated members. With Saas-Fee and Grindelwald, NEXPO now counts for the first time smaller, non-urban communities from the mountains among its members. With Frauenfeld, a city from the Canton of Thurgau is now represented, and with Sion and Saas-Fee, the Canton of Valais. Grindelwald joins Bern and Biel as the third member in the canton of Bern. The new members can now actively contribute to the project’s content. NEXPO is pleased to have the new members on board and wishes them a warm welcome!
About NEXPO: The initiative of the ten largest Swiss cities for a new national exhibition is called NEXPO - the new Expo, because it will take on a completely new form: it will be sustainable, future-oriented, decentralised and take place throughout Switzerland. It will not be an Expo on a defined and fenced-in site. It will connect cultural initiatives throughout Switzerland, in all language regions, in cities, agglomerations and in the countryside. It will build bridges between the centre and the periphery, form a nationwide network and create meeting places.
